Faith & Fear

An old maxim: where does the light go when the light goes out?
Depending on whether you can answer this question, you are either wise or otherwise.

ЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮ

Faith and Fear are closely linked.
Faith is a frantic and frenzied endeavor to flee from Fear and Phobia.

ЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮ

We thrive, survive or suffer. Each one of us here is at War. But isn’t life in this universe a War?

The praise and blame of others

Our existence constitutes of and influenced by (the love of) praise and (the dread of) blame showered upon us by our fellow creatures

ЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮ

There comes a stage in life when you have to shift from portraying a belligerent and domineering personality to a weary and shrunken one – having an increasing consciousness that you have lost all your battles with life and now you are just trying to get through life as gently and with as few remnants of graciousness as you could muster.

Robert De Niro In India

Robert De Niro is in India. I often ponder if providence would provide me with a prospect of a get-together.

I would like to ask him 2 questions:

Q1: It has been often whispered that there are two types of acting – the John Wayne type and the Robert De Niro type.

Give John Wayne a role, the role fits into John Wayne.

Give Robert De Niro a role, Robert De Niro fits into the role.

I would like to know his views on this.

Q2: If De Niro can take himself away from him, how would he analyze De Niro vis-a-vis Klaus Kinski considering the fact that Martin Scorsese brings out the best of De Niro while Werner Herzog brings out the best in Kinski?

Back to Darwinism

When poverty increases, toilet paper becomes a luxury. In any case, we use water, perhaps for this reason, the spread and increase of poverty does not distress or bother us?

Perhaps we don’t understand the value of Toilet Papers!

ЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮ

Can we ever become a Switzerland or Sweden type of a Country without adopting their type of Institution?

ЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮ

Life is full of rough edges and our entire life is spent to triumph over them. To each his own genes! We are completely determined, obsessed and motivated by way of our competitive (gung ho) and egotistical nature. We blindly follow our own self – interest in order to endure, exist and breed at the expense of others. We are surrounded by fear, danger and violent death, little realizing that the life of a man is solitary, poor, nasty, brutish and short.

Again – it is back to Darwinism: Survival of the fittest.

Change is always dangerous

In school they teach you many things - but you don’t learn that the greater part of your life is frittered away trying to ascertain how to tolerate fools.

ЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮ

I don’t sit down to think and write about some causes, effects or ideas. I write whatever comes to me as thoughts and about my own experiences

ЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮ

There is always a cause for trouble and restlessness when the law stands still and the people move forward in life.

ЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮ

People don’t want to be left alone. They don’t want to be left alone with their destiny. They need someone over them, someone to guide them, to lead them, to watch over them, to be their savior, their guru, their miracle man.
We had Socrates, Marx, Lenin, Plato, Mohammad, Gandhi, Hitler, Krishna (?), Alexander the Great, Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Caesar, Freud, Mark Zuckerberg, Henry Ford, Buddha, Jesus (?), Aristotle, Descartes, Confucius and a host of others.

All these people had one thing in common. All of them wanted to change the world.

Change is always dangerous. One would really have to understand what is more dangerous? – Change the way that people live or Change the way they feel or think.

Leave people alone. Leave them alone with their destiny.

But then again people don’t what to be left alone. They don’t want to be left alone with their destiny.
