Only man can understand and solve the problems of mankind - Man must learn to rely upon himself.

Need to Know More
When you are young, you have a dream, like everybody else. Once you shred your youth, you grate your dreams too with it. And when your dreams are gone, you realize like everyone else - you need to get on with your daily grind
۞۞۞۞۞۞۞۞۞۞۞۞۞۞۞۞۞۞۞۞۞۞۞۞۞۞۞۞۞۞۞۞۞
I heard this a long time ago:
The more you know, the more you will realize how little you know.
How about:
The more you know, the more you will realize how more you need to know?

Bits & Pieces 3
I have in recent years expressed myself as a creature that ‘does not abhor his fellow creatures,’ but perhaps ‘dreads’ them. Of late I have been plummeting into a philosophy of not disliking but thoroughly and dreadfully getting ‘frightened’ by them.
ЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮ
They say we are conscious of our existence. I am consciously confused that still now; I have not come across any acceptable and credible clarification of our consciousness
ЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮ
If life is an experiment by God, or hurled down upon us by accident or fate without reason or cause – then experience it.
If life is a problem, then you will realize that experience will teach you that there is no solution for it.
ЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮ
Life is too short to get involved or occupy oneself with the concept of mythological powers.
ЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮ
How do I get myself to answer why there are blacks and whites and that in the hierarchy of civilization the whites will always occupy the highest position - or how the heck did we all come to this earth if not through apes then with or without any unearthly reason or power?
ЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮ
A little knowledge or was it education (?), is a dangerous thing - so they say. So if you are well educated or have considerable knowledge – will you be out of danger?
ЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮ
There is this myth that civilized men have a right to think and speak freely without taking the authorities’ permission.
ЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮ
All men are free and equal? What an absolutely uncorroborated fiction!
ЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮ
Need to practice the old maxim:
”Try to learn something about everything and everything about something”.
ЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮ
First there was this invention of Fire – then came the invention of Doubt.
ЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮ
Every generation feels that the world is as fresh as the first day and that he might stumble upon and discovers untold theories.
ЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮ
One day when you reach a certain intellectual level and maturely begin to ask yourself whether you are a theist, a pantheist, an atheist, a materialist, an idealist, or a freethinker; you will discover that the more you know the more indifferent you may become to any “ist”.
ЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮ
The religious believers it seems have attained a certain level where they can easily claim to have successfully solved the problem of our existence. They are so sure of the solution, that the problem does not appear to be inexplicable, incomprehensible or bizarre. They seem to know so much about things of which I am ignorant.
ЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮЮ

Edward the Terrible aka Snowden the Insane
Like happiness, increasingly the perception of liberty and freedom seems to appear mythical. The Net was once thought to be a truly global network. Not today.
In comes ‘Edward the Terrible,’ spy or 'NSA Leaker' to some and whistle-blower to others. He went ‘bonkers’ and decided to spill the beans. Now because of his insanity, we know that the National Security Agency (NSA) accesses our Emails, Phones, Videos, Facebook accounts et al by pressurizing US internet companies to divulge data. Perhaps the US government passes on these data to private contractors (who should not be having them) and make huge profits.
At these present times the possibility of ‘Talibanising’ the net into geological or judicial environment is not really far off. So far the western powers, specifically the US had been governing and controlling the Net. Going forward we may soon be heading towards an era where Europe may have their ‘European Network,’ and countries like Iran, China, North Korea, Russia, and the bulk of the Islamic countries may follow suit. No US based internet companies might be trusted in the future, when people realize that Apple, Google, Yahoo, Facebook, Amazon, Microsoft et al are nothing but just essential elements of US cyber surveillance scheme.
We are presently thinking of sending out our data to the cloud. If we are thinking of cloud computing, then let us think again. There will be an increasing trend towards monopolization and privatization of cyber space. If we are to strife for and value our privacy and ownership - then perhaps the concept of cloud computing may merely end up as a fad.
In any case, we have failed to understand the message from Snowden the Insane. We are apparently too concerned about his whereabouts, his physical appearances, his rejections of asylum request from the brave countries, his traveling plans, whether he will move to Ecuador, Nicaragua, Bolivia or Venezuela, whether he will get a temporary Russian Visa, whether he will adopt Russian culture or learn the Russian Language, whether he will complete Fyodor Dostoyevsky's Crime and Punishment, his state of mind (if he has any). We are not bothered about how NSA works in our truly networked world and which grotesque direction the system might be moving.
We are irredeemably apathetic

Inability to do anything "great"
When you were young you longed to do something "great" that would give you fame. Now that you are not so young, you have set aside this notion and have acknowledged your inability to do anything "great,"

A passage from ”Superstrings : A Theory Of Everything {1988}” Chapter 9 concerning Richard Feynman :
God was invented to explain mystery. God is always invented to explain those things that you do not understand. Now, when you finally discover how something works, you get some laws which you're taking away from God; you don't need him anymore. But you need him for the other mysteries.
So therefore you leave him to create the universe because we haven't figured that out yet; you need him for understanding those things which you don't believe the laws will explain, such as consciousness, or why you only live to a certain length of time — life and death — stuff like that.
God is always associated with those things that you do not understand.
Therefore I don't think that the laws can be considered to be like God because they have been figured out.

While Reading “In Praise Of Idleness and other Essays” written by Bertrand Russell in 1935, I found a passage which was quite intriguing:
‘First of all: what is work? Work is of two kinds: first, altering the position of matter at or near the earth's surface relatively to other such matter; second, telling other people to do so. The first kind is unpleasant and ill paid; the second is pleasant and highly paid’.

Both the non believer as well as the believers think that one can know whether or not god exists.
The believers think that they know god exists, the non believer thinks that he knows that there is no god.
Both seem to be so certain!
In any case, if there is a god, wouldn’t it be highly unlikely that he would be so weak as to become perturbed and snubbed by those who doubt or deny his existence?

Travelling
Sometimes I wonder whether it is worth travelling. Men leave one country and escape to another thinking that they are no good in their own. Time pass and most of them come back not finding anything new.
Maybe only the light characters travel. Isn’t there any work worthwhile to keep one at home? I am not trying to stress faults and raise objections about travelling. Every now and again I wonder how someone can fit abroad, if he was not able to fit in his home. Is it that he goes to hide his insignificance in a strange land? Does he think that he will find anything that he could not find back home? The bits and pieces of all countries are just the same. What is true anywhere is true everywhere.
Perhaps it is better to let him go where he wants to go leaving his home. He will find only such worth as much as he is worth.
